HUGE shout out to our boys and girls travel ball program for competing in Myrtle Beach at NTBA Nationals. So proud of our girls 7th, 9th and 10th grade team for winning the gold division! Our 10th grade unit trailed by as many as 15 before coming back and winning by 2 and our 9th and 7th grade girls lead throughout to secure their championship. Our 10th and 8th grade boys fought hard and made it to the gold bracket out of pool play before falling in the semi finals while our 5th grade team finished 2nd in the silver division.
We want to congratulate Noah Johnson for reaching 1,000 career points this season at Wilkes Central High School. He was a 4 year starter for the eagles and has been a part of the WHG family for 6.

We also want to congratulate Armin Omanovic for all his accomplishments at Laselle College and also reaching 1,000 career points in only 2 years.
